Unlocking the Oni Class in Pixel Lineage
Choosing your path in Roblox experiences like Pixel Lineage dictates your entire combat strategy. If you prefer a brutal, aggressive melee playstyle centered around raw physical power and elemental fire, the Oni super class is an exceptional choice.
To become an Oni, you must start as a Fist class character. As you progress through the game and reach Act 2 (The Dungeon) or beyond, keep an eye out for a Trainer's Shrine. Interacting with this shrine allows you to select your super class path. Keep in mind that this choice is permanent for that specific hero, so make sure you are committed to the path of the demon before locking it in.
Oni Super Class Skills and Abilities
Once you secure the Oni class at the shrine, your hero gains access to three unique skills. A super class unlocks its abilities progressively based on your hero's level, requiring energy and managing cooldowns effectively during combat encounters.
Demon Mask (Level Unlocks Immediately): Put on the oni mask to trigger rage. This grants you the "INSPIRED" status, increasing your damage output for 3 turns. It costs 2 energy and has a 4-turn cooldown.
Demonfire Palm (Unlocks at Hero Level 10): Strike a single foe with a palm wrapped in demon fire. According to community reports and wiki data, this attack carries an 80% chance to inflict the BURN status for 2 turns. It requires 3 energy and a 2-turn cooldown.
Kanabo Smash (Unlocks at Hero Level 14): Summon a giant spiked oni club to crush your target. This powerful attack costs 5 energy, has a 5-turn cooldown, and features a 40% chance to STUN the foe for 1 turn.
Awakening the Shura Ultra Form
Maxing out your super class is only half the battle. To reach the absolute pinnacle of your character's potential, you must evolve your super class into an ultra class. For the Oni, this ultimate evolution is known as Shura.
Awakening into Shura requires an Ultra Sigil, which players can find as rare drops from Act 5 and above. According to community research, transitioning into an ultra form grants massive passive upgrades, including a permanent +25% boost to Attack, Magic, and max HP. Furthermore, ultra attacks are guaranteed to never miss.
Demon Gate (Ultra Skill I)
The floor splits open to erupt demon fire under every single enemy. Unlocked immediately upon awakening into Shura, it costs 6 energy, has a 7-turn cooldown, and carries an 80% chance to BURN all targets for 2 turns.
Demon Lord's Maw (Ultra Skill II)
Summon a colossal demon face to devour a single foe. This skill is unlocked by using your first Ultra Tome. It costs 7 energy, features an 8-turn cooldown, and automatically inflicts BURN on the target for 2 turns.
Blood Pact (Ultra Skill III)
Embrace the demon within to heal your wounds while simultaneously entering an INSPIRED state that grants +75% damage for 3 turns. Unlocked via your second Ultra Tome, it requires 4 energy and has a 6-turn cooldown.
Tips for Maximizing Your Oni Build
Playing an aggressive melee class like the Oni requires careful resource management, especially since characters operate on a strict three-life system in this experience. If you fall in combat, you risk losing progress or items unless you manage your lives wisely.
Tip
Pair your Oni or Shura build with supportive pets or gear that enhances your survivability. Because Oni relies heavily on dealing consistent damage and inflicting status effects like Burn and Stun, keeping your health pool safe with healing pets or defensive items will let you stay in the fight longer without burning through your limited character lives.
To reach the highest echelons of power, you will also need to hunt down rare Ultra Tomes to unlock the second and third skills of the Shura form. Check the in-game wiki tabs or community resources to see which specific bosses drop the sigils and tomes you need for your progression tier.
